The Evergreen Game, Adolf Anderssen against Jean Dufresne, was published in the Deutsche Schachzeitung in 1852 and is usually assumed to have been played in Berlin. After Anderssen’s death in 1879, Wilhelm Steinitz called the quiet 19.Rad1 “an evergreen in the laurel crown” of the departed master, and the name stayed.

Immortals is a numbered series of four posters, one for each of the most famous games in chess history.
